Clay County Florida Goes Live On AssessPro AP5

Patriot Properties, Inc. and the Clay County Property Appraiser’s Office (Florida), are pleased to announce that they have finalized implementation of Patriot’s AssessPro AP5 Computer-Aided Mass Appraisal (CAMA) solution for the 2020 appraisal valuation and assessment roll functions. The installation of AssessPro AP5 will enable the appraisal staff to automate more of their valuation processes within the CAMA application and move from a mainframe-based system to a leading edge .NET architecture. The AP5 application enables a multi-year database functionality, integration with best-in-class partners, and a full product suite including Patriot’s award winning Geographic Information System (GIS) application.

Clay County’s Property Appraiser, Roger Suggs, commented, “Florida’s property tax system is complicated and ever-changing. Patriot Properties’ solution understands this and has a solid history of producing compliant assessment rolls. The AP5 system will allow our office to streamline workflows, creating more efficiencies and quality controls. Additionally, the new system will provide the capability of automated online filing systems for homestead exemptions and personal property submissions.”

Patriot CEO Jim McCathern commented, “We are proud to have partnered with Property Appraiser Roger Suggs and his professional team on this exciting and challenging project. We are pleased that Clay has joined our growing Florida customer base and look forward to them being an active participant in our state and national user groups.”

Clay County manages approximately 92,000 real estate parcels and 6,500 tangible personal property accounts. Clay is joined by several other leading counties in Florida including Brevard, Monroe, St. Lucie, Dixie and Martin as Patriot Properties CAMA clients.
